Introducing the 3M™ Littmann Classic III Stethoscope, the latest version of the trusted tool used by millions of medical professionals worldwide. With its high acoustic sensitivity and versatile two-sided chest piece, the Classic III offers exceptional performance for accurate auscultation of heart, lung, and other body sounds during physical assessment, patient monitoring, and diagnosis.
Featuring tunable diaphragm technology, a 3M invention, this stethoscope allows clinicians to hear different frequency sounds by simply adjusting the pressure on the chest piece. Light pressure enables the detection of low-frequency sounds, while increased pressure reveals higher-frequency sounds, saving time and enabling focused patient care. The non-chill diaphragm provides added patient comfort during examinations.
The headset tension is easily adjustable for optimal fit and comfort, and the snap-tight, soft-sealing ear tips conform to individual ears, providing an excellent acoustic seal. The ear tips are securely attached to the tubes, requiring significant effort to remove them for added safety.
The next-generation tubing of the Classic III is resilient and retains its shape and flexibility even after being folded tightly into a pocket. It has improved resistance to skin oils and alcohol, resulting in a longer stethoscope life and reduced likelihood of stains. Additionally, the tubing is made without natural rubber latex and phthalate plasticizers, making it suitable for sensitive medical professionals and patients, and environmentally friendly.
The Classic III stethoscope is proudly made in the USA for consistent quality and comes complete with large and small soft-sealing ear tips, a non-chill bell sleeve, and instructions.
